Recorded, mixed and mastered by Jef Stevens

Artwork by Muruga

This album is a celebration of the life and music of John Lee Hooker. Muruga and John Lee Hooker performed together in the late 1960's and early 1970's as "Hooker and Booker," and John Sauter (played in the band Detroit with Mitch Ryder, and Ted Nugent) often played bass with them as well. Billy Davis (member of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Hank Ballard and the Midnighters) was a close personal friend of John Lee Hooker. Tony Thomas (played with Parliament-Funkadelic) Misty Love (sang with Kid Rock) and Peter Madcat Ruth (Grammy-winning harmonica virtuoso) have all long-admired the music of John Lee Hooker.
